About the Role

As a Business Analyst at KOHO, you will play a key role in the team that is responsible for developing strategies and controls to manage areas of fraud risk. This role requires experience in the development of business cases and a strong understanding of financial transaction, KYC and user data. You will report to the Manager, Fraud Strategy.

What You'll Do

    • You will assist in the development and enhancement of reporting and controls to identify potential incidents of fraud
    • You will work on the continuous design and development of our card transaction fraud engines by writing rules and policies 
    • Understand the different fraud patterns that KOHO faces and define actions to stop them, trying not to affect the experience of our good customers.
    • You will proactively look for ways to improve our systems 
    • You will live the five Values of KOHO with the internal team and external partners/vendors

Who You Are

    • You have 2+ years of experience in working in Fraud Analytics
    • You are comfortable with SQL, Excel
    • You have worked with a card processor, or with transaction level data
    • You are comfortable working with third party vendors to optimize the use of their fraud prevention tools
    • You are a continuous learner - you own your development by reading books, taking courses, or seeking coaching

A bonus if you have experience or an interest in any of the following!

    • Experience with Identity Fraud Prevention platforms such as SIFT, ThreatMetrix, Emailage
    • You know how to make good tradeoffs between product and engineering 
    • You know how to motivate and support a team
