Elation is looking for a Business Intelligence leader to manage a team of motivated data analysts who are committed to making their customers’ processes and operations better. Responsibilities:

• Influence the strategy for how the company approaches business intelligence, working cross functionally to ensure key stakeholders, business and product requirements are aligned
• Hire and manage BI analysts who are responsible for building and maintaining our internal operational data repository and creating dashboards and insights for leaders across the organization
• ​​Ensure that data is dependable and high quality and that we’re collecting the right data to enable strategic analysis, measurement, and decision making
• Partner with the Product development teams on data warehouse build and maintenance and feed insights back for productizing operational improvements
• Solicit new project ideas, prioritize for impact, and drive execution across the organization.
• Work closely with other teams throughout the company including sales & marketing, customer success & support, product development and finance to enable data-driven decision making
• Consistently look for new ways to improve data including introducing new tools or technologies, making process improvements, leading or organizing training

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in a business intelligence and data-focused role with 5+ years of management experience in either a business intelligence, data engineering or data infrastructure role, working on projects related to data architecture, data modeling, or data management
• Deep understanding of the value of data to the business and can advocate for its use to improve the consumer journey and lifetime value
• Comfortable navigating large datasets, acquiring and cleansing data from multiple sources using data connectors and transforming data for target warehouse
• Expert SQL skills with knowledge of performance tuning
• Familiarity with a scripting language like Python  
• Advanced data visualization skills and hands-on experience with Tableau, PowerBI or other BI tools
• Strong business acumen, intellectually curious, excited to learn new skills and grow as a manager and as a leader
• Solid project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects/solutions

Bonus:

• Experience with Looker, Fivetran, Redshift
• Prior experience working in a healthcare-focused space
• Familiarity with AWS data services
• Salesforce administration/development experience
