We are seeking a Value-Based Care Analyst to help us improve our business by performing analyses to support strategic decision making, developing a deep understanding of specific areas of the business and the key metrics that drive performance. 

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on analytics problems cross-functionally. You will perform data analysis, policy analysis, market analysis, and report against key company initiatives, as well as find opportunities for new ones. You will be responsible for turning data into insights that drive strategic business decisions that will shape the direction of the company. This is a two part role: we need someone that is proactive in finding insights and can also roll up their sleeves and fulfill requests. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Structure complex and sometimes ambiguous business issues and develop compelling, insightful recommendations.
  • Analyze or study healthcare trends and translate their impact to our customers.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting written and verbal materials (reports, findings and presentations) for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and comprehensive value-based measurement analytics for quality improvement initiatives across the organization. 
  • Facilitate the expansion of quality-based insights to support optimization of value-based care outcomes.
  • Evaluate opportunities to adopt sophisticated analytical models that enable insights and clear actionability to support organizational goals.

An ideal candidate for the role has

  • Minimum of 3+ years of healthcare experience in understanding the healthcare ecosystem, including fee-for-service and value-based incentive programs.
  • Experience in providing analytical support in Value-Based contracting with payers and providers.
  • Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • A passion for finding insights in data and driving change, based on those insights.
  • Demonstrated success presenting complex data (qualitative and quantitative) in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action across technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years in an analyst, consultant, or related role, having hands on experience with accessing SQL and non-SQL databases, researching business needs, writing queries, analysing data and providing insights and visualizations.
  • Strong understanding or interest in healthcare policy and its impact on primary care
