As a Data Analyst, you will help company leaders make better decisions by providing analysis, insights, and reports.

We love collaborating here at Wellthy and in this role you will work closely with all areas of our organization, but especially our Care Team.

You will report directly to our Director of Data Science and Analytics

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Analyze data and provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights to drive decision making
  • Efficiently create reports, visualizations, and dashboards to help Wellthy monitor and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with company leaders to design metrics that support company objectives
  • Work with our Care Team to model out demand and forecast utilization
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to design data transformations to better support reporting and analysis and optimize performance
  • Document and communicate data issues and processes to internal stakeholders

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • Track record of using a variety of analytic techniques to drive business decisions (e.g. A/B testing, cohort analysis, clustering, etc.)
  • Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills
  • Expertise in building reporting in modern BI tools (e.g. Mode, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience in demand modeling
  • Great communicator, life-long learner, problem solver, and always curious

Qualifications that are preferred but not mandatory:

  • Experience building and productizing prediction models (e.g. time series, regression, ML)
  • Experience writing basic transformations in dbt
  • Experience using version control (e.g. Git)
  • Beginner level experience with Python
  • Experience in workforce planning

What to expect in the hiring process

  • HackerRank SQL challenge (30 minute time limit, we ask you complete it in one week)
  • Interview with our Director of Data Science and Analytics (30 minute Zoom call)
  • Functional fit Interview with our data team, you will be sent a prompt in preparation and then be asked to answer questions during the interview (90 minute Zoom call, plus 20-30 minutes of prep work)
  • Panel interview with stakeholders (60 minute Zoom call)

Role Requirements: 

To work from home, you must have a strong internet connection, quiet space to take calls and a professional (distraction free) environment.
