Primary Responsibilities:

  • Check websites and external locations for pricing data files
  • Extract and load files to SQL Server Database via ETL process
  • Collaborate with business partners to capture and document rules
  • Turn Business Requirements into Technical Requirements
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical requirements meets business needs
  • Analyze and trouble shoot issues
  • Establish standards and best practices for managing fee sources and fee schedules (e.g. versioning, quality controls)
  • Coordinate go-live/deployment activities including execution of deployments plans and checklist
  • Resolve report, data, tool/application issues submitted by business partners, end-users, and Apps team

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics
  • 1+ years of experience in translating business requirements into technical requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in analysis of business processes, workflows, and process improvements
  • 1+ years of experience in unit and system testing
  • Experience developing within an agile (i.e., Scrum) framework
  • Business-side experience with IT partners, or IT-side experience with Business partners
  • Entry to Intermediate level experience in SQL
  • Intermediate level experience in Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Health Administration, Computer Science or related field
  • Solid understanding of Physician or Facility Pricing
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills when working with stakeholders to drive change

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $54,400 to $97,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $60,000 to $106,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
