As a member of the core data science team, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and analysis of experimentation projects across multiple business units at Evolve.

What you’ll do

  • Design experiments that leverage causal inference best practices while adhering to business and data availability constraints
  • Monitor the performance of active experiments by validating data, reviewing dashboards, and crafting visualizations
  • Analyze experimental and observational data to isolate the effect of treatment and project its impact if implemented across Evolve’s portfolio
  • Communicate experimental results and implications to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with business leaders, data scientists, and engineers to scope, launch, and analyze experiments
  • Document experimental design, analysis, and outcomes to maximize learnings and inform future treatments
  • Advance our in-house experimentation platform by implementing new statistical evaluation methods, automating repetitive processes, and performing code reviews for core platform developments

What makes you a great fit

  • 2+ years of experience in  A/B testing, experimentation, or causal inference
  • Experience with causal inference and hypothesis testing
  • Strong SQL skills to obtain and visualize the data you need 
  • Experience analyzing data or building causal inference models with Python or R
  • An entrepreneurial mentality that produces great work with minimal supervision
  • An analytical mindset that is able to ask meaningful questions, answer them using  data-driven methodologies, and integrate findings into decision making while still accounting for qualitative factors

Location 

Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, in our beautiful downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both! As we grow, we are working towards opening remote opportunities across the entire U.S. We currently are able to hire across the U.S except in the following locations: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon and Pennsylvania. 

Compensation

Total approximate compensation: $92,250- $108,250

For this role our salary range is $84,000 to $102,000 depending on relevant experience.  

Additional compensation details:

Equity: $25,000
