Why this role

We’re looking for a creative and highly motivated Data Developer to join our Custom Development Team to help us build, innovate, and maintain the Revenue team’s data pipeline and algorithms. In this role you will work closely with data architects, data scientists, DevOps and full stack engineers to provide support for the data pipelines ensuring high availability and timely issue resolution. Whether a bug fix or an awesome feature, you will own your work and deliver the most elegant  solutions. 

The ideal candidate for this role is technically savvy, analytical and an outstanding communicator. You must anticipate and embrace the challenge of solving critical business problems in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, willing to perform a variety of responsibilities and would be comfortable working with cross-functional teams. What you’ll do

  • Analyze and organize raw data.
  • Build and maintain ETL (Excract, Transform, Load) processes to load data into the data warehouse.
  • Curate and transform data into appropriate data structures using SQL, Stored Procedures, Python, Snowflake scripting, and data transformation tools.
  • Build, deliver, and support high quality code.
  • Build algorithms and prototypes.
  • Conduct complex data analysis and report on results.
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with other engineering team members on code reviews, technical documentation, data engineering standards, and best practices.
  • Accountable for meeting individual targets to impact the discipline.

What makes you a great fit

  • 3+ years of relevant data warehouse and/or data lake engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with data collection, storage and data management, processing, analysis and visualization, and security.
  • Problem solving and algorithm development using programming languages like Python.
  • Experience in data pipeline development and automation.
  • Comfortable working with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work independently with guidance on more complex issues.
  • Ability to be objective in review of difficult work problems, obtaining cooperation or approval
  • Familiarity participating in peer code reviews.
  • Experience with Git version control and repository management in Gitlab.
  • Familiarity with Agile development process.

 

Location 

We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S except in the following states: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, and Pennsylvania. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both! 

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $111,000 to $1128,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.

Equity: $25,000 in RSUs
