How will this role have an impact?

The Database Engineer III will be a strategic resource on the Data Management team within Signify Health. We are looking for a talented, versatile, and creative individual to be an integral part of a team that will build next generation solutions in support of Signify Health and its partners.

This role will report to our Database Engineering Manager.

What will you do?

This position will work closely with other team members in support of our business processes.

Routine responsibilities will include:

  • Technical research of user-reported issues
  • Process documentation
  • Creating scripts, procedures, or other technical solutions based on business need
  • Solution deployments as assigned
  • Knowledge sharing with team members
  • Support existing business processes

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience as a MS SQL Server developer (especially as it relates to workflow design, object creation and performance tuning)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of SQL programming ability
  • Strong experience with MS tools (including Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Power BI)
  • Some experience with a non-SQL programming language (C#, Python, Java, etc.)
  • Recent experience with or general knowledge of APIs
  • Recent experience with Snowflake (especially as it relates to process migration and new development)
  • The creativity to determine the best solution for a real-world problem using quantitative data and business practices
  • Experience developing or implementing EDI (X12) processes is a bonus
