Job Description

Are you currently working towards a STEM or related degree? Wanting to find an internship/fellowship? Let us know. Mercury Data Science is looking for software engineers, data engineers, and data science-minded folks that are looking to work on or are interested in working on the engineering side of data science & AI/ML product development. This is a part-time position with the potential to become a full-time position upon graduation.

In your work, you will be exposed to cutting and bleeding-edge technologies - and may be involved in building it too!

We are a predominantly Python/Javascript shop, but there will also be exposure to Go, R, Java/Scala, C/C++, and much more. You will become, if you aren’t already, a trained cloud guru, knowledgeable in not only the cloud vendor stacks but also in cloud-native stacks.

Qualifications

  • Entry to intermediate coding skills in Python or javascript
  • Experience with version control
  • Experience building a solution in code (school work, personal projects, etc)
  • Know what the Cloud is and basic around using the cloud
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Working towards STEM degree or similar experience
