Deep Purples makes the data and knowledge collected by Olive accessible and manageable to help drive business decisions and allow existing Olive digital workers to become smarter over time.

The Deep Purple Knowledge Graph is the semantically linked representation of data in Deep Purple. The Deep Purple Engineering team within Olive Enables is looking for an experienced data scientist that is fluent in key areas such as SQL, SPARQL, graph analytics, data science and mining, and working with healthcare data. The Data Scientist working with our Knowledge Graph will help to identify new uses for our graph data and support new product offerings with data feeds and relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers to create new product features and feeds based on our knowledge graph data
  • Ability to meet deadlines and satisfy requirements from other Engineers and Product Management
  • Quickly produce well-organized, optimized, and documented analyses, code, and reports
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently across all divisions including with the business, technical teams, and leaders
  • Take technical ownership of tasks and successfully work independently
  • Demonstrate the ability to become a domain expert in projects
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant equivalent experience
  • 3+ Years of analytics and data science professional experience
  • 1+ Years of experience working with healthcare data
  • 1+ Years of experience using SPARQL, or similar language for querying semantic data
  • Extensive experience with search algorithms, graph technologies, using ontologies, and working with heterogeneous data
  • Experience developing a scalable and reliable knowledge data platform
  • History of creating, leveraging, and extending algorithms for supervised and unsupervised knowledge discovery
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of fundamentals engineering concepts
  • Experience writing and reviewing detailed Technical Design Documents (TDDs) is a plus
