About the Role & the Team

This role will report into the Business Operations & Analytics team, which helps the company monitor performance, understand key business drivers and make data driven decisions to optimize operations and accelerate growth.  This role will oversee the BI infrastructure and team that supports all access to data & analytics across the company.  It will work closely with people throughout the organization including the exec team, product, engineering, sales leadership, clinical operations and finance to increase data visibility and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership and business stakeholders to develop analytics to support performance reviews and to answer key business questions with a focus on delivering actionable insights
  • Own the overall design and support of the BI data & technology ecosystem, including collaborating with engineering and functional leads on data acquisition, management, architecture, warehousing and delivery solutions
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of a BI reporting project: from gathering and understanding the requirements to creating the functional design, architecting the solution, supervising the detailed technical design and implementation, to preparing and executing the functional tests
  • Promote and facilitate the development of data & reporting self-service capabilities for the business 
  • Meaningfully contribute to establishing, implementing and maintaining data governance practices & policies
  • Manage BI team cadencies, priorities, workflows and staffing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of BI/Data Warehousing/ Analytics experience (with at 3 years as a director or senior manager), preferably in the healthcare space
  • 5 years of experience developing a combination of complex ETLs, large and complex datasets, and the creation and management of large set data modeling
  • Extensive experience with SAS, SQL, or other data languages and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Prior exposure to selecting and managing vendors for various components of the data ecosystem (consultants, contractors, systems, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of business process design
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Action oriented and entrepreneurial mindset 
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience (Tech, Services, Insurance, Consulting)
  • Operating or analytics experience at a high growth company
