We are looking for someone to join our product team that wants to build the products that our customers love. The efficient flow of data to the right hands is paramount to our success. As our business continues to grow, so will the need to understand and analyze the vast swath of information on member behavior and system performance while maintaining our current data and reporting flow. We are using technology to scale Solutran’ s infrastructure. The right candidate is someone who can “think big” while diving deep, remain flexible to change, and someone with a passion for all things data.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and scope business needs and translate those needs into product requirements
  • Communicate product requirements and rationale with all stakeholders including technology development teams, QA, marketing, sales, finance, and executives
  • Be responsible for your product area and own the entire product lifecycle from conception to implementation
  • Support and define a standardized data delivery process
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business requirements, technical limitations, performance, and operational needs
  • Produce high quality documentation based on implemented methodology standards
  • Participate in and influence the definition of integration standard methodologies
  • Scope and prioritize feature requests, enhancements, and opportunities based on business goals and customer impact
  • Manage the backlog of features and integrations, prioritizing appropriately
  • Work closely with engineering and analytics teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Other duties as assigned

One year of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to one year of experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Technical Business Analyst/Product Owner or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience with  SQL (Oracle, MS, or MySQL)
  • Experience with analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) 
  • Experience designing and documenting user flows and workflows to support application development
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to assess priorities and organize product backlog effectively
  • Experience with client reporting to support existing reporting structure and assist in building new reporting structure
  • Experience creating and editing file specs for client reporting standardization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare or health insurance
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake
  • Payment’s industry knowledge
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum/Kanban process
  • Demonstrated project team leadership skills
  • Proven ability to break down initiative-level requirements into feature and story attribute level details
  • Proven ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven skilled at collaborating effectively with cross functional teams
  • Proven ability to communicate with non-technical and technical people inside and outside the organization

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
