We're looking for someone to grow a motivated team with a passion to solve business problems with advanced analytics. You and your team will be the strategic partners with senior business leaders, identify opportunities and problems, test hypotheses, build analytics and data science solutions, and surface insights to lead transformative changes.

More about you:

  • You have a background in applied statistics, economics or a related quantitative field.
  • You are comfortable with complexity, and you have experience working with senior leaders and multiple teams.
  • You have expertise in using data science to guide understanding, progression, insights for large organizations.

In this role you will get to:

  • Lead a team of BI developers and data scientists that provide operational metrics, strategic insights, and ad hoc analysis to promote decision-making at executive level of CSS.
  • Partner with CSS executives and collaborate with team members to determine the right KPIs, information and insights that increases the efficiency of CSS.
  • Lead senior managers
  • Partner with teams to lead transformative projects and make impact.
  • Be the expert to build analytics strategy, provide transparency of roadmap, and lead sprint planning.
  • Build shared vision, empower a team of missionaries, and deliver high quality outcomes.
  • Create relevant analytics insights, build data science solutions, and measure the impact.
  • Manage roadmaps, sprint planning, partner engagement, and remove blockers when needed.
  • Share complex ideas simply, advocate team's work and coach data storytelling.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 8+ years experience of management experience
  • 15+ years experience in business intelligence, data engineering and data science field
  • Success at hiring and growing a global team remotely
  • Help your team identify the right problem to solve when there is complexity
  • Success at building a culture of data-informed decision-making, fast learning, and progress
  • A technical background in visualization tools such as Tableau, statistics, measurement, experimentation, modeling, SQL, R/Python, data instrumentation
  • Experience applying advanced analytics knowledge to the real world
  • Roadmap planning, sprint planning, and project management skills

It's great, but not required, if you have:

  • Experience in B2B, customer support, customer success
  • Experience in product analytics, people analytics
  • Experience with large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop)
  • Experience in using Jira, Team Central, Confluence to manage and share team's work
