Mission

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Business Intelligence to lead our Business Intelligence and Data engineering teams. This role is pivotal in supporting Smartcat’s product and PLG growth model by supporting everyone in the organisation to make great and fast decisions based on easy access to reliable data.

Outcomes

• Leadership & Strategy: create and execute vision of Business Intelligence and Data engineering, with metrics to measure progress.
• Team Leadership: Lead, Inspire, retain, structure and manage a team of strong data engineers, analytics engineers and product analysts.
• Collaboration & Communication: strong stakeholders management skills with business stakeholders, from CEO, CTO, VP Account Management etc.
• Own data stack including Data warehouse, ETL data pipelines, introduce and manage data governance, and data operationalization across Smartcat.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business intelligence.
• Proven experience managing managers and leading large, diverse teams.
• Strong stakeholder management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Curiosity Mindset.
• Experience in B2B SaaS a must have, experience with marketplace business a plus.
