In this role you will work with our internal teams to deliver superior analyses and product improvements that drive growth using first- and third-party data. Your deep curiosity and tenacity, combined with business judgment will surface actionable solutions to optimize product flows. You will seek to deliver exceptional results to demonstrate our data-first approach to both current and prospective customers.

Reporting to the Director, Business Analytics, you will have the opportunity to showcase your work to the leadership team. You will lay the foundation to build a high-caliber team reporting to you, expanding Product Analytics and actively contributing to Fountain’s rapid growth.

What you will be doing:

    • Work with Product Managers and Engineers to dive deep into product data and the user experience
    • Construct product metrics and statistical models to identify growth opportunities
    • Test out the tools and products Fountain is building to provide feedback for our product and engineering teams
    • Hire and develop high caliber Product Analysts
    • Providing expertise and advice to various Fountain teams on the right way to collect, structure, and retain data for use in analytics
    • Communicating the results of your analyses to team members, other teams, leadership, and occasionally customers or prospects

What you should bring:

    • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics or equivalent field required
    • 5+ years of industry experience, with expertise in Product Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Analysis
    • Proficiency with SQL
    • Have full stack experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productionization, and monitoring
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
    • Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project
    • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
