Analytics is heavily cross-functional, partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Operations. The team takes a strong data-driven approach to identify the highest potential opportunities to unlock additional growth that is fundamental to Fountain’s success. The broad scope of the team enables us to be nimble and focus on the highest priority problem areas.

As a key team member on the Analytics team, you’ll own various work streams, analyses, modeling, strategy, and business metrics that drive the growth of the Fountain ecosystem at scale. We are looking for analytical talent to provide insights and actionable recommendations that will drive impact and produce quality business decisions.

What you will be doing:

    • Working with internal Fountain stakeholders to produce analysis and insights that drive decisions for our Product and Engineering teams
    • Looking at data on user behavior to inform our Product team with knowledge of how the product is being used and what might be good to build in the future
    • Collecting ideas and requirements for projects then synthesizing this information into a focused plan for completing the work
    • Communicating the results of your analyses to team members, other teams, leadership, and occasionally customers or prospects 
    • Working with independence and autonomy in a fast-paced startup environment 
    • Craft a data centric view of customer behavior to diagnose drivers for business impact
    • Conduct analytic deep-dives of critical business issues that impact performance and translate the analyses into actionable recommendations
    • Mine database for critical business insights and intelligence. Formulate and communicate findings to the organization
    • Partner with business owners (Product/Marketing) to diagnose business problems
    • Closely monitor business performance to identify risks, new opportunities and industry trends
    • Establish measurement frameworks for driving consistency among critical metric tracking

What you should bring:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics or Economics
    • Self-motivated with 3 years+ of demonstrated success in marketing, customer, web, mobile, product, or customer analytics
    • Familiarity with A/B testing and evaluation
    • Superior analytic problem solver, with a focus on delivering actionable recommendations
    • Strong business knowledge and demonstrated ability to probe, drill and analyze elusive problems with minimal supervision
    • Attested ability to frame problems and structure analysis, and deliver coherent conclusions and insights
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Advanced SQL required and familiarity with R or Python strongly preferred
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker strongly preferred
