As part of the CloudOps Team, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer, who will be building automated data pipelines to support advanced data solutions. This Engineer will be responsible for identifying relevant data and utilizing data tools, technologies, and processes to develop continuous, data driven and automated data pipelines to provide value through clean and optimal data.

What you'll be doing:

    • Develop, build, and maintain mission critical data pipelines that gather and deliver data from various internal & external sources
    • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using ETL technologies such as Apache Spark, nifi, AWS Redshift, S3, GCP BigQuery, Dataflow, Data Fusion
    • Develop automated data quality checks for correctness of data
    • Implement integration for data dictionaries to enable schema discovery and governance
    • Work closely with analysts and business leadership to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions that drive business objectives
    • Provide and maintain documentation of system architecture, development, and enhancements.

What you should bring:

    • 5+ years of experience as data engineering field
    • Experience collaborating directly with data science and product engineering teams 
    • Experience with modern data processing, orchestration, and retrieval technologies (think BigQuery SQL, Looker, Airflow, etc) 
    • Experience in one or more of data processing programming languages like Python or Javascript, Java, Scala, Ruby
    • Deep understanding of ETL/ELT design methodologies, architecture, strategy, and tactics for complex ETL solution and transformation
    • Experience working on public cloud, preferably AWS and GCP
    • Deep knowledge of data ingestion strategies and understanding of the V-dimensions of data
