In this role you will partner with our internal teams and current customers. Your specialization in Natural Language Processing / Deep Learning to solve a variety of practical challenges in building chatbot. Your deep curiosity and tenacity, combined with business judgment will help you as you build end-to-end products that bring actively contribute to Fountain’s rapid growth.
Reporting to the Director, Data Science, you will have the opportunity to showcase your work to the leadership team.
What you'll be doing:
- You will need to analyze problems, design solutions, deploy solutions as inference APIs / pipelines, maintain solutions and improve models
- You will have technical discussions with teammates and ML Engineers to get more help with technical challenges and to share your findings with others. You will also share your project updates, timeline estimation and resource requirements with the Product Manager to ensure on-time deliverables
- Program using R, Python, Javascript, Java, or C++
- Perform big data modeling work: BigQuery, Pig, Scala, Spark
- Fish for data: SQL, Pandas, PostgreSQL
- Deploy Data Science solutions: Java, Python, C++
- Can communicate concisely and persuasively with marketers, engineers and product managers.
What you should bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or other relevant fields
- Two years working experience with a programming language such as Python
- At least one year working experience in Natural Language Processing / Deep Learning related fields
- Basic Natural Language Processing techniques, such as Tokenization, Name Entity Recognition, and Text Classification, etc
- Familiar with the stat-of-the-art deep models such as BERT, GTP and beyond
- Experience in some of the following domains: language model / text classification / text clustering / summarization generation / intent prediction
- Familiar with machine translation / knowledge graph / reinforcement learning is a bonus
- Significant prior success as a Data, Product, or Decision Scientist working on challenging problems at scale
- 3+ years of industry experience, with expertise in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Data Analysis
- Strong ability to code in Python
- Have full stack experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productionization, and monitoring
