THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite has the world’s largest data repository of live events, powering millions of events and hundreds of millions of ticket transactions each year in 170+ countries. The Product Analytics team’s mission is to leverage all this data so we can build a better product to help our creators better manage & promote their events, help our attendees to find the perfect event, and grow our business. As we position Eventbrite for success over the next few years, we are expanding the Product Analytics team into Spain! We are looking for a technical analytics manager to develop and scale the inaugural team of local analysts as the first expansion of the Product Analytics organization.

THE TEAM

Our product analytics team is centralized within the Data Organization where each analyst partners directly with product development teams and leaders. The scope of the team spans multiple user types and business models across the entire breadth of the product. We leverage multiple data sources to generate novel insights and recommendations that drive impact. We conquer significant problems by putting our heads together, learning, supporting and mentoring each other to reach greater heights as a team and as a company.


THE ROLE

  • Hire, coach, and develop Product Analysts, rolling up your sleeves to be a force multiplier
  • Effectively communicate & manage stakeholder expectations
  • Partner across the company to accelerate and promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making
  • Champion and promote the team and their work across the organization
  • Enable the team and company to monitor & diagnose product health and interpret experiment results to build a better product
  • Enable the team to generate timely and actionable insights for internal customers to accelerate growth
  • Collaborate on developing Product Analytics Roadmap and drive Data related OKRs to drive the team's success
  • Constantly strive to improve processes for the team to become more efficient - don’t just accept the status quo

THE SKILL SET

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics roles
  • 2+ years of experience managing, hiring, retaining, and growing technical talent 
  • Track record aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders such as product managers, data scientists, engineers, financial analysts, etc.
  • Understanding/experience with data languages, tools, and techniques and how to leverage them for impact including SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, Heap, advanced analytics, AB testing, etc.
  • Ability to take complicated problems and synthesize & communicate the complexity into simpler actionable frameworks
  • Experience working with product development teams and familiarity with the product development life-cycle
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
