Job Summary

Manages a team of remote analysts and developers responsible for creating, publishing, and maintaining analytic models, reports, and line of business applications in support of distribution center operations within the supply chain. Responsible for guiding complex project, process or program assignments. Has expertise in the field utilizing technical knowledge and supply chain experience to resolve complex issues. May nurture change on assigned projects or processes and identify and implement process improvements and solutions to nurture business value and simplification.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages development and publication of reports, scorecards, models, and line-of-businessapplications supporting distribution center and supply chain operations, special projects, and otherinitiatives.
  • Builds analytical models to support data-driven decisions on projects and initiatives, determine costand productivity impacts, and develops KPIs and metrics to monitor network-wide supply chainperformance.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams in collaborative efforts with other business and IT resourceswhich may include managing implementations of new processes and programs. Oversees execution ofaction plans while keeping key stakeholders informed of any obstacles or barriers to successful andon-time implementation.
  • Shares information cross-functionally to improve workflow processes. Interacts with direct reportsand peers in management / customers / vendors to share information and improve crossdepartmentalprocesses.
  • Allocates available resources to meet operating objectives. Develops and mentors staff through onboarding,open communication, training and development opportunities and performancemanagement processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team isappropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Utilizes analytical skills and supply chain experience to identify opportunities for improvement andworks with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, Inventory Management, and others in order toimplement new processes and procedures.
