This is a remote position, the selected candidate can reside and perform the work from anywhere within the United States.

Global Business Solutions (GBS) People Services organization (HR Operations) is looking to identify and unlock opportunities hidden in our people data to increase operational efficiency and deliver world class employee experiences. This person will analyze, grow, and create new data sources to identify trends and insights which are currently hidden. The person in this role will directly work with service line leaders (payroll & timekeeping, benefits, talent & learning, employee contact center) and strategic analytics team, to identify areas of exploration, analysis, and continuous improvement. By utilizing the power of data analytics and AI we aspire to set the standard for our employees and stakeholders.

This opportunity will provide exposure to interact with multiple levels of leadership across various business units while empowering you to leverage your expertise, knowledge of data analysis, data visualization and storytelling to provide data that supports decisions related to global workforce issues.

  • Apply your expertise in research, analysis, data science, and data visualization to identify insights and understand opportunities for improvement across all service lines

  • Communicate analyses, machine learning approaches & results, and implications of efforts to non-technical audiences

  • Experience conducting analytics or data science projects; project management; presenting analytics-based solutions and products

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills

  • Expertise using, Workday HCM, Power BI, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), KNIME, Python and SQL to perform analysis and interpret data

  • Use judgment to independently develop stakeholder focused solutions while seeking guidance as needed

  • Experience working in start-up environment and ability to change direction as needed

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics or related field

  • 4+ years of professional work in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics

  • 4+ years proficiency in one or more core analytical tools/suites/languages such as Python, R, Spark, SAS, Scala and understand their limitations

  • Proficient in analytical methodologies such as numerical optimization, modeling and forecasting, machine learning, text analytics, computer vision/pattern recognition

  • 4+ years of experience collaborating with teams to develop data and analytics solutions

Preferred Requirements

  • Master’s degree

  • 7+ years professional experience in data science related role


Additional Description

Compensation: The median level of salary compensation for this role is $98,856.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
