HubSpot's Pricing team is looking for a Pricing Analyst to work with HubSpot’s services, product operations, and product teams to help pricing and packaging decisions. You will spend part of your time focused on developing strategic pricing recommendations for our Professional Services business, and part of your time exploring and evaluating pricing opportunities across our software products.
As part of HubSpot’s growing Pricing function, your work will drive critical decisions that are core to our long-term success. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical professional who is knowledgeable about SaaS pricing, and is focused on solving customer problems while delivering business impact. You will have the opportunity to partner with stakeholders and leaders across the company.
General Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives and pricing and packaging opportunities
- Own pricing and packaging analysis for our Professional Services business
- Conduct quantitative analysis as well as lead quantitative and qualitative pricing research to drive recommendations
- Communicate insights to your stakeholders with a data-driven point of view and plan for action
Minimum Qualifications:
- Academic or professional experience with SaaS Pricing and SaaS business economics
- Practical experience running standardized and ad hoc analysis using customer and financial data to model the impact of pricing and packaging changes
- Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative pricing research techniques, e.g. in-depth interviews, conjoint, max diff
- Comfortable using tools such as Tableau, Looker
- A natural curiosity and hypothesis driven approach to business problems
- Passionate about the role of data in helping solve complex questions
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills
Above and Beyond Qualifications:
- Experience working with other SaaS Professional Services teams, knowledge of SaaS Professional Services strategies
- Comfortability with SQL and data analytics and statistical tools such as R or Python
- Demonstrated passion for building products that delight customers and drive their success
