Principal Analytics Engineer, RevOps Marketing Analytics
Team Mission:
Our goal in RevOps is to embed advanced analytics into the DNA of decision-making across HubSpot’s GTM strategy. Flexible, well-connected, well-architected data are the backbone of our strategy. Analytics Engineers who create that landscape. Your work in this position will directly support analytic and ML products that will change the way we make decisions at HubSpot.
We’re looking for Analytic Engineers with a strong interest in building and maintaining flexible, reusable architecture for our highest-value Marketing data assets. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to data science and MLOps. In this cross-functional role, you will develop a deep understanding of the business.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Design and implement modern, scalable data assets for modeling and analysis, including:
- Customer journey data models
- Multi-touch marketing attribution models
- Natural language processing model inputs
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and non-technical business stakeholders from across HubSpot
- Work on data science flywheel: from instrumentation to model pipelines to inference and predictions to outcomes and back
We are looking for someone with:
- Expert knowledge of modern data tools (especially Snowflake and dbt)
- Strong communication skills and ability to bridge between business leaders, engineers, and data scientists
- Successful experience building complex, cross-functional data projects
- Insatiable curiosity and interest in learning new things
As well as ideally:
- Previous software engineering experience with an object-oriented language
- Prior experience working with the deployment and maintenance of large-scale dynamic machine-learning models
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and ML data pipelines
Cash compensation range: 150000-175000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
