Through integrated in-app experiences developed in collaboration with industry partners, athletes are challenged to achieve goals and connect with their community -- and are rewarded for their progress. As the Product Analyst supporting the Strava Business team you will develop insights, create visibility for key business metrics, and drive decisions with data. You're excited about this role because you will:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement by diving into athlete behavioral data and product usage.
  • Build the source of truth for both internal consumers and external partners as the owner of critical data pipelines, analytical reporting and exploratory dashboards for the Strava Business team.
  • Ensure that industry partners receive the highest level of data insights and that information is presented professionally.
  • Coordinate with teams and verticals inside Strava to deliver insights. You will work closely with Product, Business Development and Revenue.
  • Have the ability to self-prioritize and turn around data requests quickly.

We're excited about you because:

You are extremely organized and have a business-oriented mentality. You have a great ability to thrive in a constantly evolving start-up environment. Most of all, you are curious and eager to learn! Other requirements include:

  • 1-2 years of experience in product analytics, business analytics or other quantitative domains
  • Highly proficient with SQL (required) and have an understanding of data pipeline concepts (e.g. ETL, scripting common analysis workflows).
  • Proficient with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau / Looker).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to construct compelling stories and clearly articulate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Proven track record of meeting goals and keeping projects on pace.
  • High agency over your work, committed to driving outcomes and venturing into highly exploratory domains with confidence and humility.
  • Eager to make your mark. You are able to spot things in data that others have overlooked and are comfortable making recommendations and helping the broader team improve our product and ways of working.
