About the Role
As an early member of Ramp's Risk Strategy & Operations, you will help create the foundational frameworks for increasing the efficiency of risk policies, procedures and processes by 10x. Partnering with internal and external stakeholders, you will design and implement the risk infrastructure to ensure Ramp continues to scale efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of Ramp’s risk management policies (underwriting, payments, transactions, credit limit changes, collections) across corporate credit card and bill pay products by developing and implementing them
- Create frameworks to investigate and evaluate efficiency levels of risk policies, procedures and processes
- Leverage data and analytics to evaluate and prioritize solutions to improve efficiency
- Partner with product and engineering to build best in class risk tooling to increase operations efficiency
- Build and maintain monitoring dashboards for underwriting and risk management outcomes, processes and losses
- Research emerging underwriting, risk management and fraud trends to innovate on Ramp's decisioning systems and policies
What You Need
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, strategy, management consulting, investment banking, private equity or venture capital
- Exceptional ability to draw key insights from both quantitative and qualitative data
- Knowledge of SQL or Python
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Investigative and critical thinking skills
- BA/BS from an accredited university
