About the Role
Ramp is in a critical phase of growth. We grew 60x in 2020 and are building out a talented Revenue Operations team to ensure we maintain this trajectory for years to come. As the first hire in Sales Analytics, you’ll be a key leader in developing the program, setting the standard, and, as we grow, helping bring more to the team. You’ll work directly with our Head of Revenue Operations to drive mission-critical, cross-functional projects across the organization. You will collaborate closely with our Sales, Account Management, Sales Dev, Marketing, Product, Risk, and Operations teams to deliver on ambitious growth goals. This is a key role where you will be uniquely positioned to impact the full picture of Ramp’s growth efforts across all go-to-market.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the quarterly/monthly/weekly forecasting and reporting for sales and account management, identifying key changes and trends that will materially impact the company’s growth trajectory
- Identify and advise on new business growth strategies, improving existing business retention, and furthering expansion opportunities using models and analytics
- Perform ad hoc analyses driving actionable insights on sales initiatives
- Analyze and advise on improvements in sales process, rep execution, data cleanliness, and target attainment
- Design, develop & deliver robust and scalable reporting in Salesforce and BI solutions
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of incentive compensation plans for the sales force and sales management teams
- Own the data integrity areas of our CRM to reflect correct insight in sales pipeline and customer revenue
- Own commissions payouts including automating, optimizing, and ensuring accuracy
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Finance, Marketing, and other key teams across the company
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B SaaS or Fintech sales analytics, business intelligence, or data analytics
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations
- Ability to translate stakeholder requests into technical requirements to surface impactful end-state analyses and reports
- Working knowledge of key B2B SaaS Tech Stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Zoom Info, etc.)
- Experience with SQL and data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
- Mastery of BI tools (Looker, Domo, Tableau, QuickSite, etc.) and Excel / Google Sheet functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting data and providing recommendations with confidence to senior level partners, even when there is ambiguity involved
- Ability to appropriately determine what tools/solutions are most appropriate for analyses and reporting (SFDC report, BI tool, one-off query, Outreach, Excel, etc.)
- Scrappiness when scoping, sizing and fulfilling large and small requests balancing efficiency and quality
- Working knowledge of B2B funnel reporting including stages (MQL, pipeline, etc.) and SFDC structure/reporting
- Solid understanding of various compensation plan structures
Nice to Haves
- Experience as a SFDC administrator
- Working knowledge of Python or R
- Familiarity and comfort with Q2C process
- Experience in high-growth startups and/or high-growth technology companies
- Passion for or curiosity to learn about financial technology
