Nielsen’s Plan and Optimize team focuses on outcome measurement, and empowers advertisers, publishers and agencies with the intelligence they need to drive revenue, increase market share, and optimize their audiences and investments.  We are looking for a skilled, data savvy operational analyst to join our Nielsen Compass team to support and deliver our cross media outcome norms powered by Nielsen’s marketing effectiveness product. 

Responsibilities

    • Manage monthly data collection process from end to end working with our regional Operations and Tech teams.
    • Independent delivery of client and internal reports with accuracy and timeliness.
    • Assist in feasibility requests.
    •  Produce standardized monthly and quarterly reports.
    •  Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and reliability of the data by coordinating with the Tech, Commercial and Product teams.
    • Communicate evolving ways of working and features of a new product to stakeholder

Qualifications

    • 3-4 years of work experience in an analytics, data science, quantitative consulting or product/program management role and Bachelor’s degree.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong knowledge of the Digital and TV marketing, media industry, marketing mix or ad operations.
    • Experience in servicing commercial delivery.
    • Ability to work across geographically distributed teams.
    • Strong logic, deductive reasoning, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, particularly with the application of statistical and quantitative tools.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and problem solve.
    • Passion for being hands-on with data, analytics and new technologies.
    • Enthusiasm for applying statistical analysis to address business issues.
    • Comfortable working with large data sets and exploring big data.
    • Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling several projects at a time while meeting deadlines.
    • Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively with team and other internal partners.
    • Curious, with an emphasis on willingness to learn and discover new areas.
    • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
    • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes
