We are seeking a Senior Analyst, SalesOps Commissions to join our SalesOps team. The focus of the Sales Operations team is maximizing business growth and performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the Spotify Ad Sales Leadership. As the global Senior Analyst, SalesOps Commissions you will be responsible for the monthly commission achievement process for the global Spotify Ads Sales team. This includes assisting in the quarterly target setting process as well as managing the end to end commission mapping and achievement process for monthly accruals and quarterly payouts. This role will work closely with FP&A, Sales Comp and HR and reports into the Global Head of Sales Operations at Spotify. 

What You'll Do

    • Prepare the monthly/quarterly sales commissions attainment for Sales and Sales Support teams by ensuring all individual targets as well as the commission and bonus plan mappings are accurate and coordinate review and approval sign off from the Regional SalesOps team members. 
    • Proactively support sales teams by researching and helping to resolve commission achievement related matters. 
    • Prepare key monthly commission reconciliation reports including reporting of monthly commission and sales attainment metrics. Provide metrics-based, actionable insights to Sales Leadership via analysis of quota achievement and trends for input into the quarterly target setting process and the commission plan design objectives (behaviors and business results).
    • Support the quarterly target setting process by consolidating and preparing the global targets and key trends/insights for review and sign off by Sales Leadership and ensuring the targets are uploaded and maintained for the commissions process. 
    • Administer monthly and quarterly SPIFF payouts. Prepare and track data for special incentive programs related to Company initiatives
    • Act as the Sales Ops business stakeholder for the evaluation of commission software. Collaborating with Sales Comp, FP&A and vendor on any implementation, administration and enhancements including maintaining system data, hierarchies, applicable plan mappings and dashboards. 
    • Develop and assist with maintaining policies needed to effectively manage all commission & bonus achievement processes and provide input & recommendations for streamlining and making process improvements to our commissions achievement and quarterly target setting processes.
    • Provide ongoing training for new and existing Sales Ops team members on the Spotify Ads commission achievement process. 

Who You Are

    • 4+ years of experience serving in an analytical capacity – Business analysis/ Compensation/ Commission plan administration/ HR analytics/ Finance or related area
    • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills facilitating collaborative problem solving for resolving inquiries/disputes
    • Detailed oriented with ability to understand where and how to look for errors in large datasets and set up audit checklists
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google sheets, familiarity with Salesforce.com and SQL/BigQuery based commissions automation tools is a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain objectivity and discretion with confidential information

The United States base range for this position is 83,439 to $119,198, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
