As a Senior Analyst, Sales Strategy and Operations - Channel in a remote-friendly role, you will help manage the effectiveness of the Channel organization by consolidating different reporting functions and metrics into a unified suite of actionable insights, driving efficiency of processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and forecasting to guide internal efficiency, profitability, and on-time delivery for our teams, partners, and customers.

Your future team

Our Channel Sales Strategy & Operations team is comprised of people with backgrounds in channel sales operations, sales analytics, and partner strategy. We turn data into plans to increase Atlassian's Channel performance.

We're hiring a Senior Analyst, reporting to the Manager for Channel Sales Strategy & Operations. You are an analyst with a background in working with Salesforce data, exploring insights with SQL, and reporting through Tableau. Here, you'll advise our Channel Programs team and Channel Incentives team using analytics, and create compelling dashboards to scale those insights.


  • Support the Global Channel team. You will partner with multiple groups and create powerful reporting & analytics.

  • Analyze foundational reporting around SaaS sales metrics (lead conversion, opportunity forecasting, NNACV bookings) and partner programs (onboarding, activation, ROI).

  • Be able to work with a technical team to identify stakeholder needs and develop reporting requirements for BI dashboards.

  • Monitor Channel performance efficiency and drive recommendation for improvement plan among many options.

  • Identify root cause and contribute to change management and go-to-market projects to improve team performance.

  • Support fiscal year planning, target and OKR setting, and ad-hoc analytics

  • Analytics and SQL skills: You know what questions to ask, what the data says, and what actions to take based on the results.

  • Slick ability to package data into relevant insight: You create compelling presentations, lead executives through data deep-dives, and build and collaborate on real-time dashboards from CRM data. SFDC and Tableau expertise are big assets.

  • You love partnering: You get that an organization is made up of very different parts. You relish influencing other teams and co-piloting cross-team initiatives.

  • Process improvement knowhow: Continuous improvement is in your DNA. You can enhance business processes from the diagnosis to documentation to execution.

  • Deliver presentations ranging from C-level presentations to hands-on data deep-dives.

  • +5 years of ever-increasing responsibility in Channel/Sales Operations, Strategy, BizOps, or Analytics role within a B2B (ideally SaaS) company or in a strategy consulting environment.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $125,600 - $167,400

Zone B: $113,000 - $150,700

Zone C: $104,200 - $138,900

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
