As Steady grows beyond its 4.5 million member base, we need to simultaneously scale our reporting and insights in order to improve internal decision-making and member experience.

As a Senior Manager for Business Analytics, your job is to lead a team of analysts to help Steady’s decision-makers understand the main drivers of revenue, retention, and sales across our consumer mobile app and income verification product. Responsibilities

• Lead a growing team of Data Analysts to analyze and report on retention, revenue, growth, and other business KPIs.
• Develop hiring, onboarding, and development plans.
• Surface data-driven insights with your team that drive strategy and optimal decision-making for the leaders across the organization.
• Effectively balance competing priorities and deadlines, with an eye on both short-term delivery with long-term direction and value.
• Help drive a data-first culture where data is understood and leveraged in decision making.

Skills & Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working with business leaders to identify trends and diagnose key metrics.
• 3+ years of experience directly managing a team of data analysts.
• People-first manager with a proven history of hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
• A passion for data-driven storytelling that can distill complex insights for executive management.
• Excellent project management skills with an ability to meet competing deadlines, ideally using agile methodologies.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work cross-functionally with other leaders in the organization to set priorities and goals that are in line with Steady’s strategic objectives.
• Experience with consumer fintech mobile businesses and/or enterprise SaaS products, including cohort analysis, LTV/ CAC forecasting, and attribution methodologies.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, making assumptions, drawing conclusions, and distilling complex analysis for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, team-oriented, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience writing SQL queries, dbt, and working with analytic databases, including ELT/ ETL best practices.
• Familiar with mobile and B2B data sets, including attribution (Appsflyer, Impact Radius), events (Segment), web tracking (Google Analytics), CRMs (Salesforce), and messaging (Braze).
• Experience with deploying and managing a modern data stack, including BI tools (Amplitude, Tableau, Looker, Mode); transformations (dbt, Airflow); storage (S3, Snowflake); and other data technologies (Databricks, Ascend, Jenkins).
• Experience with Python, R, or other analytical exploratory languages preferred.
• MBA and/ or technical Masters degree preferred.
