JOB TITLE: Senior Data Analyst

LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle Eden Prairie, MN 55344

DUTIES: Use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data. Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of data analytics programs and processes for supporting various operational data stores. Collect, interpret, and aggregate data from traditional and non-traditional data sources for supporting programs and applications utilizing various data analytics purposes. Understand data requirements and business needs to develop data tools such as dashboards and data visualizations. Solve moderately complex problems and translate concepts into practice. Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis; and Recognize problems and make recommendations for solutions. Work with business users to understand and address data quality issues in timely fashion. Collaborate with the administrator teams in defining system problems on servers and facilitate resolutions. Manage code and files as part of change management. Support business users with internal audits by analyzing and providing data needed for the audits in the required format. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: 
• SAS/Data Step 
• SAS/Macros 
• SAS/Proc SQL 
• Data analysis 
• Database technologies such as Oracle and MS SQL Server 
• SQ queries 
• Hadoop-Hive QL 
• PowerBI 
• Python; and 
• MS Excel

RATE OF PAY:  $96,283 -$145,579/Year
