JOB TITLE:    Senior Data Scientist

LOCATION:    9800 Health Care Lane, Minnetonka, Minnesota 55343 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES:    Develop and implement a set of models or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using programming languages and visualization software. Duties include: Develop and maintain models for acquisition marketing and member retention programs using machine learning techniques and statistical techniques; Engineer new data features for optimization of existing and new models; Develop deployment pipelines to productionize model scoring and delivery; Analyze marketing program performance, and provide recommendations to marketers on program improvement opportunities; Collaborate with business partners and data analytics teams to drive the use of analytics across M&R marketing. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS:    Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related computer occupation. Position requires 1 year of experience in the following:

•    programming languages such as in Java, SAS, R, or Python;
•    extraction, transformation and creation of large datasets from various data sources using tools such as SQL, JDBC, Scala, and Hadoop;
•    building reporting dashboards and visualizations using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or JSP; 
•    deploying code modules in production environments using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Chef, GIT on on-prem application infrastructure and cloud computing platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS; and 
•    developing models, using analytics and statistical techniques.

RATE OF PAY:  $96,283 – $130,000 / per year
