Are you passionate about data and data privacy?

We are seeking top-tier full-stack Data Science professionals to help to protect customer data from our connected vehicles, through privacy enhancing technologies, analytics, modeling and data strategy.

This role is available to be #remote.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be able to do: 

  • Privacy enhancing technology: Embed these technologies into our connected vehicle data ecosystem to protect customer data privacy while maintaining data utility for connected vehicle experiences.
  • Influence data strategy: Develop technology solutions and data products that enhance our data ecosystem to be future-proof and agile to policy changes.
  • Modeling and analytics: Apply statistical modeling methods to assess opportunities and gaps, automate processes and establish measurement in Privacy related areas to support business directions.
  • Proof-of-concept: Develop end-to-end working proof-of-concept to demonstrate feasibility and validate methodology to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership: Help to grow a team of data scientists and analysts through project leadership such as technical coaching, mentorship and establish team wide best practices

Qualifications

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience of statistical methods and their accurate application e.g., ANOVA, principal component analysis, correspondence analysis, k-means cluster analysis, factor analysis, multi-variate analysis, neural networks, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with Python, SQL, Cloud (preferably GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience working in a multi-functional, agile product team environment/analytic delivery team.

Our Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in privacy enhancing technologies in one or more of differential privacy, secure enclave, federated learning, cryptography and so on.
  • 2+ years of experience with executive presentation preparation and delivery.
  • Expertise in data science technologies such as Python R, Spark, Hadoop, etc. and cloud platform, such as GCP.
  • Ability to work under stress, establish priorities and respond with urgency.
  • Highly credible in organizational, time management, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity working with Automotive OEM/ Ford connected vehicle data & relevant infrastructure.
  • Familiarity working with big data to develop scalable, production-ready solutions.
