Atlassian is looking to hire a Senior Analyst to lead the process of governing communications with our user base, maximizing the impact of product & marketing efforts.

In this role, you'll get to:
- Reach beyond the world of proving marketing ROI and delve into the exciting science of audience segmentation, targeting and optimization – this is how we become smarter marketers!
- Deliver thoughtful and comprehensive analyses on the current state of communications, provide direction and inspire change.
- Collaborate with the org’s most impactful teams to prioritize which messages do or do not make it to our contacts.
- Work with engineering to automate the governance of Atlassian’s go to market campaigns.
- Apply creative analytical problem-solving skills to a wide variety of marketing questions to deepen our understanding of campaign effectiveness, customer journeys, and go-to-market performance.
On the first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 5 + years of experience in analytics or closely related fields
- 2 + years of experience in segmentation, audience building and email marketing
- A proven track record for crafting raw data and analysis into well-written and persuasive content
- The ability to prioritize your time wisely against multiple competing projects and requests
- Familiarity with a broad set of topics and fields within marketing analytics (e.g. campaign attribution/effectiveness, web tracking, customer lifecycle marketing, etc.)
- Comfort in communicating unfavorable outcomes to leadership (backed by data of course)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods as needed
It's great, but not required if you have:
- Experience working with operations team(s), IT and Data Engineering
- Experience with marketing automation systems such as Marketo, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience with customer data platforms (CDP) such as Action IQ
- Experience with at least one visualization tool such as Tableau, Looker, Mode, Plotly, etc.
- Experience with scripting and analysis languages (Python, R)
- Experience with Git
- Familiarity with statistics and probability
