Team's Mission:
TrueAccord has pioneered a new way of helping consumers deal with debt while safeguarding their credit scores.
By using machine learning models to understand our consumers better, we've completely removed the need for aggressive debt collection, and work with consumers to cure their late debts with a customized repayment experience. TrueAccord has already helped over 11 million consumers deal with late debt. By carefully balancing the needs of creditors and debtors, we're able to collect larger amounts and do so faster than traditional debt collectors.
We do this by focusing on an automatically tailored repayment experience and carefully balancing the needs of creditors and debtors.
Your Role:
TrueAccord is looking for python engineers to join our Data team.
You will join a multi-functional team of data engineers and python developers dedicated to creating a data driven culture, improving the efficiency and dependability of the way we make decisions, and developing our automated debt collection strategy. In this role, you will work closely with Data Science to develop HeartBeat, our central decisioning platform, as we enter a hyper growth phase.
We’re looking for strong computer science fundamentals and an enthusiasm for system architecture. You should be passionate about leading conversations on system architecture and implementing clean code. Above all, be determined to have a huge impact at TrueAccord.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own development of a micro services platform
- Collaborate with Data Science to develop production models and model pipelines
- Lead the development of customizable and reusable model integration strategies
- Partner with Product and Data Science to define and execute high value experiments
- Evolve and expand the underlying product experimentation platform
You Have:
- 3-5+ years work experience | BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field | Equivalent training
- Dedication to writing clean, concise and testable code
- A desire to develop within a Python code base
- Ability to lead technical architecture discussions and to drive towards decisions
- Zeal for building high throughput, real-time analytics systems
- Cross-departmental management and communication skills
You might also have:
- Experience with stats or data management Python libraries; pandas, scikit-learn
- Familiarity with ML or predictive data modeling; Tensorflow, Spark, Jupyter
- Interest in helping onboard new team members, mentoring, and teaching others
- FinTech background
