How will this role have an impact? 

Signify Health, a CVS Health company, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Analytics Consultant to join our fast-growing organization. The Senior Analytics Consultant will be a key person on the Signify Intelligence team that evaluates the impact of our population health initiatives and helps the organization make data-driven decisions to drive better patients’ outcomes. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of and experience in working with large healthcare dataset and risk adjustment analytics, conducting statistical analysis, and possesses strong programming and communication skills.

What will you do? 

  • Analyze various sources of patient care and claims data, including Medicare Advantage and Medicare claims, to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct descriptive and predictive analyses to identify opportunities to target population health interventions, improve care delivery, contribute to product and services development, and inform Signify Health’s growth strategy.
  • Monitor trend of cost, utilization and quality of care for a defined patient population, identify factors driving the changes and predict future trend. 
  • Prepare a variety of reports including statistical analyses for stakeholders to assist with decision-making and tracking accountability. 
  • Evaluate the impact of Medicare and Medicare Advantage quality and risk adjustment programs on ACOs including, but not limited to risk adjustment opportunities, quality measure performance, and population comparison. Identifies process improvements and opportunities to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work with product teams on model development for product development and clinically viable tools and initiatives for provider behavior change.
  • Proactively identify and communicate issues affecting a project plan.
  • Prepare comprehensive documented observations, analyses and interpretations of results including technical reports, summaries and quantitative analyses. 
  • Support acquisition and implementation of new information sources, data collection strategies, data governance, and analytics.
  • Present analysis results to internal and external audiences, including company executives, subject matter experts, delivery teams, and clinical teams within Signify Health.

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher with concentration in health informatics, computing, epidemiology, statistics, or related field
  • 8+ years relevant experience. 
  • Strong SQL and Python skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries. Experience with SQL and Power BI strongly preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct nuanced analyses to produce accurate and unbiased results and tell the story of those results in data visualizations and reports.
  • Build, develop and maintain health data models, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions. 
  • Deep experience with healthcare data sources such as claims, electronic health record, event notification, clinical, and patient reported data. Experience with commercial payors’ data and programs highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard methods for measuring health care utilization, spending, quality, and outcomes; risk adjustment; provider profiling; and related analytical tasks.
  • Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position supervises no employees.

 

The base salary hiring range for this position is $92,000 to $160,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
