JOB TITLE: Sr. Data Engineer

LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle. Eden Prairie, MN 55344

DUTIES: Design, build and launch efficient and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data (both large and small amounts). Design elegant interfaces between internal services and internal customers. Design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes in production. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements. Optimize data delivery and re-design infrastructure for greater scalability. Build infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from wide variety of data sources. Build analytics tools that utilize data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics. Work with internal and external stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related data engineering or data analysis occupation.

Experience must include:

· Applied AI Infrastructure; 
· modern programming languages including Java 11 and Python; 
· databases such as SQL, NoSQL, or Elastic; 
· computer technologies such as SPARK or Hadoop; 
· team lead role including leading teams to delivering AI pipelines thank you and solutions at scale; and 
· Scala.

RATE OF PAY:  $111,350 – $192,182/year
