Position Summary

ADT.com is seeking a passionate data savvy Sr. Ecommerce Analyst to join the Marketing Analytics team. In this role, you will closely partner with our eCommerce and Marketing teams to build out our analytic capability, measure the impact and effectiveness of our marketing programs, understand, and optimize customer behavior of our Web site, and make recommendations to improve performance and drive growth. You will enable stakeholders with actionable, insightful measurement and performance reporting & analysis. The ideal candidate will be familiar with a wide range of site analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics. They will also have a robust mix of technical and communication skills as well as strong data storytelling and data visualization abilities. The Sr. Web Analyst will collaborate with other Marketing Analytics team members as well as with other groups within the organization including UI/UX, Product Managers, Marketing Managers, and Web Engineering.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Google Analytics 360 reporting and analysis – create recurring reports, dashboards, alerts; identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
  • Google Analytics 360 support and training – train and support marketing team members on reporting and analysis using GA360
  • Web Analytics Special projects – support long term projects that enhance and facilitate tracking and reporting improvements such as easier data extraction, new reporting capabilities, deeper insights, and integrations between GA360 and other data sources

General Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to study user behavior, providing insights on website performance and making recommendations to develop strategies to increase engagement and ecommerce conversion
  • Design, prepare and present all required reporting and dashboards for cross functional teams which may include weekly and monthly reporting as well as recap of promotional activity. Regularly share and articulate key learnings with stakeholders
  • Create visualizations/dashboards in Tableau to provide on-demand self-serve reporting
  • Configure and maintain analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) ensuring appropriate tracking for ecommerce and digital marketing activities
  • Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with team members to achieve and measure project success. Provide opportunity analyses, measurement plans, tracking requirements and dashboards
  • Work with internal teams to integrate data across solutions and to automate reporting as much as is possible; Actively pursue data quality, troubleshoot/validate data and see related issues to resolution
  • Research market/industry trends and behavior, making recommendations to ensure we stay relevant in the ecommerce and digital landscape

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing, Mathematics or in a quantitative discipline is preferred)

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in web analytics.
  • Experience working with eCommerce, Customer, clickstream, marketing, and financial data
  • Experience working with large datasets, writing queries, structuring reports
  • Proficient with MS Office, Excel, SQL, and Tableau (or similar tools)
  • Highly proficient in Google Analytics Tools (GA360, Google Data Studio, Optimize360); This includes tagging and administration
  • Marketing analytics experience preferred
  • Experience with CRO testing/optimization (familiarity with behavioral analytics tools like FullStory)
  • Hands-on experience with experimentation tools such as Google Optimize 360 (preferred), Adobe Target or Optimizely

  • Flexible and responsive, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, reprioritize as needed and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams; independently and proactively
  • Must be results oriented and able to execute plans and implement initiatives with sense of urgency
  • Extreme curiosity about how features and the user experience can be improved and a high degree of innovation in looking for new alternatives to be tested
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, work independently, and learn technical information quickly
