Job Description
As an Analyst of Strategic Planning at CVS Health you will be part of a team who are responsible for the long-term forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning for multiple lines of business. The team builds and manages the forecasts and budgets that drive our business results and supports more than 9 million members and hundreds of clients.

The team will be building long term forecasts and resource plans which determine the need for our overall production and non-production staffing. Forecasting for a variety of clients, lines of business, and sources.

The accuracy of the strategic forecast is a key driver to the operations team abilities to provide timely decisions to members, prescribers, and clients within the forecasted spend. The team will be supporting the operation teams as they work across multiple clients, lines of business and sources. By providing accurate strategic forecast the operations team will be able to meet client expectations to avoid risk associated with performance guarantees.

Responsibilities will include:
– Providing guidance to operational leaders and help develop an overall strategic strategy that will drive optimal outcomes.
– This role will help create forecasted volume, resources and non-production needs that drive compliance for timeliness of work and determine an optimal systems solution that will support all workforce activities.
– This analyst will help create and support staffing contingency and business continuity plans in anticipation of issues that may arise.
– Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
– Preparing reports for management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
– Preparing reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
– To be successful in this role you will be partnering with operations, team lead, and Senior Leadership to understand the various partner’s needs and help coordinate the actions needed to fulfill those needs.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 40,560
Maximum: 83,400

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications
1+ years of forecasting or resource experience in a high-volume environment
1+ year of analyzing data, creating reports, and building dashboards
1+ years of working with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of: Healthcare industry or other Operations experience

Skill in:
1+ year of presenting forecast or resource plans to leaders
1+ years of Project Planning
Advanced Excel formula’s
Exceptional Organization & Communication skills
Utilization of Tableau

Education
High school/GED Degree or better
