The Associate, Operations Strategy & Analytics, will join the Operational Excellence and Strategy team - this team works cross-functionally to scale AbleTo’s operations. The Associate will run, build and improve analytical models to support operational decision making. Ideal candidates will have excellent analytical modeling skills, strong detail orientation and a high-level of curiosity to understand business drivers. This person will also be a proactive problem solver who brings structure to ambiguity.

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Conduct analytical modeling to support operational decision-making
    • Project operational capacity needs and draft ramp-up plans
    • Conduct scenario planning to support creation of mitigation plans, as needed
    • Support creation of presentation materials for capacity reviews with senior executives
  • Lead efforts to better understand drivers impacting operational capacity and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Partner with data & analytics team to develop reporting tools to enhance operational management processes
    • Scope and execute initiatives with other Ops Excellence team members to improve operational processes
  • Define requirements for model improvements, including potential software solutions
    • Incorporate and automate operational modeling into existing Business Insights tools
    • Research and vet potential solutions for operational modeling as AbleTo scales
  • As needed, facilitate meetings with senior stakeholders to gather inputs for operational modeling and to validate potential operational levers
  • Serve as a thought partner for other team members; ask questions and make suggestions to help elevate the team’s work and contribute to a culture of data-driven decision making

 

 

Who you are:

  • 2+ years in a role heavily focused on complex, analytical modeling
  • Comfortable consolidating and manipulating multiple complex data sets
  • Strong ability to synthesize and simplify complex analytics into understandable and clear insights for executive decision making
  • Top-tier management consulting or investment banking experience preferred
  • Proven record of fast ramp-up and learning new concepts
  • Operations Research experience is a plus 
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus
  • Excellent Excel modeling and scenario planning skills
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence or advanced analytics tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Alteryx)
  • Basic experience managing projects and stakeholders (internal or external)
  • Ability to interface with data teams to define data reporting requirements
