Overview

Data is integral to nearly everything that we do at AbleTo, and as a result the Business Insights team plays a key role at our company. This team brings curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail to understanding data needs across AbleTo, designing client-facing reports, and conducting analyses that drive recommendations to improve AbleTo’s products and operations. Our team is seeking a Data Analyst with a strong interest in the behavioral health industry to drive client reporting initiatives for our expanding book of business.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Be an analytical advisor to both our client-facing Enterprise Growth team, and directly to stakeholders at key health-plans
  • Bring scale to how we report key business metrics to clients (ex: engagement funnels, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction)
  • Become a trusted partner to stakeholders by deeply understanding the competitive landscape, industry trends, and best practices in behavioral health care
  • Use data to investigate key business questions (ex: where are there opportunities to improve retention to treatment in the Medicare population?)
  • Develop Looker dashboards and reporting tools to track business performance and inform client reporting
  • Work with Data Engineering and Product teams to ensure relevant data is captured in source systems and made available for business intelligence applications
  • Develop resources for self-service of our BI tool and train non-technical end-users

 

Who You Are:

 

  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Development of compelling client facing materials
    • Project management
    • Stakeholder management
    • Experience in an external client-facing role
    • Experience working with business intelligence and data visualization tools (ex: Looker [preferred], Tableau)
    • Experience manipulating data in Excel or Google Sheets

 

  • Preferred Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a field with quantitative or research skills
    • 2+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis, consulting, clinical research, or project management
    • Healthcare industry experience
    • Proficient SQL skills
