Overview:
LivePerson is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with strong expertise in SQL to join our Ops Excellence team. This position will be based offshore in India and will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, strategic business decisions, and create a single pane of glass for data insights on our customers.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with large datasets, excellent SQL skills for data extraction and analysis, and the ability to create meaningful dashboards and reports. This role will be integral in driving data-driven decision-making processes, optimizing operations, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate, insightful reporting.
You will:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Leverage SQL as a core skill to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources, including data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Integrate and combine data from various internal and external sources to generate comprehensive insights and support business intelligence needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Revenue Operations, etc.) to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
- Perform advanced data analysis on large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business strategy.
- Provide in-depth analysis of business performance metrics, customer behavior, and A/B test results to optimize operations and drive revenue growth.
- Automate reporting processes using SQL scripts, Python, or R to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models to support business intelligence efforts and ensure scalability and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and issues in reporting processes to maintain data integrity.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and special projects from leadership, providing insights to improve business outcomes.
- Develop predictive analytics models and leverage machine learning algorithms for future trend forecasting and business insights.
- Ensure reports and dashboards are user-friendly, interactive, and actionable for decision-makers across the organization.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong ability to collaborate with Global Stakeholders and accommodate time zone differences.
- 4-6 years of experience in a BI Analyst role or similar, with SQL as a core competency.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience working with data warehousing systems like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and the ability to create insightful, actionable reports and dashboards.
- Experience with data governance and ensuring data quality across different systems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality control.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
