As a Business Analyst , you will collaborate with multiple global functions to research technical, software development and business challenges and analyze processes and data to confidently make — and defend — business decisions. You should be extremely comfortable with data.

In this role you will drive evidence-based decision making, both within the Payments team, as we bring this new offering to market and with brands, as they consider implementing this solution. You will contribute in a number of areas:

  • Create and maintain a business case template to highlight the value add that payments and commerce use cases will bring to brand operations
  • Analyze and distill brand results into easily digestible tables, charts and infographics to be used by the team and field, at large
  • Create data-driven ‘win’ stories (in collaboration with our marketing team) to be used in pre-sales brand pursuits
  • Maintain an industry and competitive analysis on payments, c-Commerce and related components (eCommerce, OMS, and Payment Gateways)
  • Establish and maintain a customer usage analysis, inclusive of trends, improvement areas 
  • Evolve C-level focused business/finance models for program justification and growth
  • Establish and maintain Payment Gateway relationships
  • Assist in developing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. 
  • Assist legal, purchasing and finance in negotiating contracts.

 

Your qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience analyzing a wide range of business challenges, developing action plans to address those challenges and working in a team to execute those plans in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work smart and fast with a genuine customer-first, day-1 mindset.
  • Highly proficient Excel/Sheets skills; experience working with relational databases and pivot tables; experience with data visualization tools is a plus
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written communication skills; we emphasize writing and narratives as a key communication tactic to executives, partners and stakeholders. 
  • Experience working backwards from the customer and delivering innovative, simple solutions.
  • Working knowledge of digital payments, messaging, Bots & Automation a plus.
  • B.S. degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance,  Statistics or Engineering; MBA a plus.
