Role Overview:

As a Business Analyst II, Performance Marketing, you work on maximizing the performance of all paid advertising efforts within the organization including: search engine marketing (SEM), paid social, paid affiliates, and more. You are a strong communicator and collaborator across multiple functions and stakeholders. You are an analytical and digital marketing professional, self-starter, and thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment. 

You will help lead the Performance Marketing team in optimizing acquisition funnels from impression to enrollment by analyzing data and making strategic changes to your campaigns.  Our team is passionate, empathetic, hard working, and above all else focused on improving the lives of our service professionals (our Pros). Core Responsibilities:

         Analysis & Strategy

    • Conduct robust, quantitative analyses to optimize the financial performance (CPL, CPE, ROAS, eLTV/CAC) of paid media campaigns across all paid Marketing channels 
    • Own day to day maintenance of paid programs, investigating topics like lead quality and channel economics
    • Analyze funnel performance across the entire pre-enroll funnel (impressions to visits to leads to free trials to enroll) and ideate new ways to increase funnel velocity
    • Collaborate with Business Analytics and Marketing leadership to lead monthly lead and enrollment performance views
    • Drive audience optimization initiatives through targeted segmentation, personalized messaging, and data-driven strategies
    • Proactively propose and lead Paid Marketing experiments across all channels to increase financial performance
    • Collaborate cross functionally with the Marketing department to achieve growth marketing goals, and align with broader company objectives

         Paid Marketing Reporting

    • Own creation and maintenance of performance reporting on topics such as keyword performance, spend performance by campaign, channel attribution, competitive performance, and more
    • Act as point of contact to Engineering to ensure all Paid Marketing data is cleaned, accessible, and actionable in our Snowflake environment
    • Use a combination of SQL, Tableau, and/or Hightouch to create individual and executive level reports

          Data Creation

    • Create and maintain supplementary data sets to help fuel reporting and analyses, including:
      • Ad libraries
      • Utm structures
      • Spend campaign mapping

What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline
    • At least 3 years of experience in a Paid Marketing role with direct campaign or P(L) ownership (SaaS or management consulting experience a plus)
    • Extremely analytical thinker who can find the root causes of issues while also displaying high levels of attention to detail
    • Highly adaptable thinker who can grasp new concepts quickly and juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
    • Highly communicative and curious self-starter who is comfortable proposing new ideas
    • Persuasive communicator who can tailor messaging to audiences including C-suite executives
    • Experience with SQL required, Tableau preferred
    • 2+ year experience with any of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, GA4 preferred

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $76,000-$95,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
