Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Scientist I, you spearhead impactful business decisions and drive innovation by crafting cutting-edge product features, empowering both our organization and customers with data-driven excellence. You bring a wealth of experience from developing and productizing machine learning solutions. You leverage your technical expertise to build scalable solutions and lead innovative projects from inception to implementation. You stay at the forefront of artificial intelligence and machine learning advancements and apply them strategically to our Company, driving impactful business decisions and developing cutting-edge product features for our customers.

The Data Science team collaborates closely with various departments throughout the organization and develops predictive and generative models to the benefit of our business and our customers. What you do each day:

• Lead end-to-end Data Science projects, establishing strong relationships with partner teams
• Contribute to building the next generation of Data Science-driven products
• Frame and structure complex questions, collect and analyze data, and summarize and present key insights to support decision-making
• Apply machine learning (ML) and analytical techniques to create scalable solutions for challenging business problems
• Build models from the ground up, including data exploration, feature generation, model construction, and optimization
• Translate data findings into actionable insights that drive the customer journey and enhance the product experience
• Partner closely with Product, Innovation, Monetization, Operations, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance teams to define, scope, and implement data science projects in production
• Retrain and enhance existing models to ensure they remain accurate and effective

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of experience in a machine learning or data science role with a track record of building machine learning models or 3+ years of experience with a graduate degree in computer science, engineering, math/statistics, physical science, or related discipline
• Deep experience designing and developing production level code using Python

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $116,000-$145,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
