Role Overview:

As a Data Analytics Manager, you are a great communicator who is comfortable working cross functionally to solve complex problems.  You are embedded in a team of data analysts, data engineers and data scientists and you work closely with cross-departmental teams, aimed at increasing acquisition, retention and revenue within the product.  You support building the foundational data and process infrastructure, and delivering data products to support the business' objectives. You work along the entire analytics value chain; from raw data sources to final data products.  You foster a culture of data-driveness through experimentation and data governance.  You have strong integrity and empathy for what home service professionals do.

What you do each day:  

  • Define data instrumentation and data products
  • Model as a data leader for the organization
  • Delegate and assign work to team and build the team roadmap with technical stakeholders
  • Understand the user and business context around data
  • Continuously improve team execution and outcome in service to the strategy
  • Collaborate with team and leadership to achieve alignment 
  • Drive a data culture within the function along with leadership
  • Execute team roadmap towards building data products to drive organization's decisions

 

Qualifications: 

  • 4-6 years experience in data analytics at a growth tech company
  • 1+ year in management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, related field or equivalent experience
  • In-depth understanding of SQL
  • Familiarity with modern data warehouse platforms such as  Snowflake, Segment, Amplitude, AWS, and Tableau
  • What will help you succeed in this role:

    • Proven track record of building a culture that encourages autonomy, innovation, teamwork, and productivity
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for working with different audiences

Location Dependent information

This role is open to candidates inside and outside of Colorado, but for those hired in Colorado the expected salary range for this role is $125,250 - $140,000 + equity. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. And the salary range for successful candidates outside of Colorado may differ based on location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
