About our Internship Program
As a thredUP intern, you will be given a firsthand glimpse at what it’s like to work at the world’s largest fashion resale platform. You will tackle projects alongside our world-class team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on thredUP’s business. About the Internship
We are looking for individuals who are analytical and have an accounting minor/major. Both Accounting knowledge and data analytical skills are very critical for this internship. Individuals would get the opportunity to work on data systems, ERP systems, work on ideas on how to optimize month end close processes by working closely with the accounting team. The Fintech team is building a product to automate Journal entries for the accounting team across Revenue and Inventory domain. You would get an opportunity to actively participate in generating business requirements/specs, influence product decisions, create workflows/process maps , test the system , evangelize a product to external systems. You would get an opportunity to work as a data analyst working on complex data systems. Great opportunity to be part of a pod within Fintech to work on new product ideas and implementation. To succeed in this internship it is very important to be proficient in excel , working knowledge of SQL and excellent accounting knowledge. Prior experience in the Finance/Accounting domain in FinOps or accounting team or ERP systems would be a plus.
