As a thredUP summer intern, you will be given a firsthand glimpse at what it’s like to work at the world’s largest fashion resale platform. During the 11 week program, you will tackle projects alongside our world-class team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on thredUP’s business. About the Data Engineer Internship 

As an intern on our Data Engineering team, you will work alongside thredUP's data warehouse team to build data driven products that will be used internally across several teams. You will get an opportunity to work on varied data sets and projects in our production environment that have a direct impact on the business. Your time will focus on one main project, with several side projects to insure the growth of several areas of skill.

About You:

• 3 years of experience in SQL and Python development
• Currently enrolled in a Master's Program in Computer Science or MIS
• Relevant coursework in Big Data Technologies and Business Analytics
• Strong Data Analysis skills and an eagerness to learn in a business setting
• Bonus: hands-on experience building data processing pipelines in Apache Spark
