The role

We are looking for a BI Manager (Product) to set the direction for how we capture and analyse our customers’ product interactions. The role will have scope for determining the tools and methods we use to measure user behaviours and will be able to significantly influence the direction of our future development.

The role will require significant expertise in product analytics tools, event tracking and statistical testing methodologies, alongside an ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.You will work closely with senior stakeholders from product, marketing, design and engineering and be an integral part of the product decision-making process.

Infogrid is a rapidly-growing company with lofty ambitions, so you will also have line management experience and an interest in mentoring others to help the team grow.

What we think you’ll need to be successful:

    • Mathematics or numerate degree with a solid understanding of probability and statistics 
    • Fluent SQL
    • Experience leading a data teamSelf-directed attitude who is comfortable working in cross functional teams
    • Demonstrated experience of devising and implementing a robust web event tracking plan
    • Advanced understanding and experience of implementing and running A/B testing
    • Experience with event tracking and product analytics tools such as Segment, Snowplow, Mixpanel or Amplitude
    • A great communicator with the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders
    • Advanced BI dashboard development, ideally Looker.
    • Confidence and creativity to overcome challenges associated with data limitations
