About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly motivated Business Operations Analyst to join us here at Niche. Your work will directly impact our ability to drive revenue growth and move the business forward. Your primary focus will be on fulfilling internal data requests, analyzing client performance to ensure we are driving value, prove ROI, and identify new opportunities to grow our client base.


What you will do:

During the 1st month:

  • Collaborate with various team members to learn about the company
  • Work with members of the Business Operations team to begin to understand our users, our school partners, products and our go-to-market strategy
  • Learn how to query relevant data from the Niche platform
  • Learn how to clean and analyze data using R
  • Start learning about how we show our value to clients and get involved with performing ROI analyses

Within 3 Months:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our sales organization and how different teams work
  • Be able to query data from the Niche platform for any data requests
  • Become the point person for performing client ROI analyses and other ad-hoc sales reporting initiatives
  • Work on reporting and analytics initiatives that will impact company and revenue growth

Within 6 Months:

  • Perform self-directed research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth
  • Begin to use your experience and insights to drive strategic change in business operations
  • Take full ownership of different research, analytics, and operations initiatives
  • You will be the go-to person for ad-hoc analytics and requests from clients, the sales team, and other internal stakeholders.

Within 12 Months +:

  • You will have a deep knowledge of our product, company, and go-to-market strategies
  • You will own several facets of operations and analytics at Niche
  • You will use research and analysis to drive strategic growth for the company
  • You will be held accountable for growing direct sales revenue

What We Are Looking For

  • Educational background in business, mathematics, industrial engineering, or other quantitative focused field
  • Experience supporting sales & business units to drive revenue growth
  • Passion for using data and research to solve problems
  • Ability to translate vague requirements into prioritized problems to solve
  • Effective communication of complex analyses to different audiences
  • Proven track record of getting things done
  • SQL, R, or Python experience

Useful Experience

    • Sales & Business Analytics
    • Experience working with large datasets
    • Experience supporting sales & business units to drive revenue growth
    • Experience in a similar role at a high-growth SaaS company
    • Understanding of K-12 and/or college admissions processes
    • Statistical Modeling
